I watched some of the coverage on CBC and, wow, nothing much has changed in Canada. 

• A Liberal elected in Vancouver Quadra, NDPers elected in Nickel Belt and Trinity-Spadina, Tories sweep (almost) Alberta
• Peter Mansbridge brought out of cryostasis to anchor the event
• Hugh Segal, Alan Gregg, Chantal Hebert brought out of cryostasis to pontificate about the event
• Rex Murphy brought out of cryostasis to bluster about the event

The only surprise was Rick Mercer.  What the heck was he doing on the set?  Has he no shame?  No self-respect?  What’s he doing consorting with the rest of CBC’s talking heads?
