Richard Wright, keyboardist and founding member of Pink Floyd died today at his home in England after a brief battle with cancer. The LA Times published an obituary here. I think the band said it best themselves in Time from Dark Side of the Moon:
"And you run and you runTo catch up with the sunBut it’s sinkingAnd racing around to come up behind you again.The sun is the same in a relative wayBut you’re olderAnd shorter of breathAnd one day closer to death."
