Nonfiction November is drawing to a close for 2024 so it’s time to highlight new discoveries from fellow bloggers. This week’s topic is New to My TBR hosted by Deb @ Readerbuzz.
It’s been a month full of amazing nonfiction books! Which ones have made it onto your TBR? Be sure to link back to the original blogger who posted about that book!
In past years I’ve added a teetering stack of books to my TBR and then not had time to read nearly as many as I’d hoped. So I’m trying to be more restrained this year. Here are my picks. I’ll add hyperlinks to the book titles pointing to my reviews as I post them.
| Title | Recommended By |
| Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin | JoAnn @ Gulfside Musing |
| The Year Without Summer by Klingaman and Klingamen | Katherine @ Simple Tricks and Nonsense |
| The Celts: Search for a Civilization by Alice Roberts | Stephanie @ Bookfever |
| Writing for Busy Readers by Todd Rogers | Lisa @ Lisa Notes |
| Medicine Wheel for the Planet by Jennifer Grenz | Linda @ Shoe’s Seeds and Stories |
| How Bad Are Bananas? by Mike Berners-Lee | Liz @ Adventures in reading, running and working from home |
| An Immense World by Ed Yong | Marie @ mairetoday |
Thanks to everyone who participated this year. A special thanks to our hosts Heather, Frances, Liz, Rebekah and Deb!
And as always, thanks for reading

JoAnn’s review of Team of Rivals influenced me to add this book to my birthday wishlist and I got a copy of it early this month. I’m still only about 25% of the way into the book, but, though it’s long, I am enjoying reading it very much.

I’m sad that Nonfiction November is over already! But it’s probably a good thing it is because I’ve added enough titles to my tbr list to last another year. 🙂 Glad you found some good ones too!
