It’s time to wrap up Nonfiction November for another year. Lisa @ Hopewell’s Public Library of Life is hosting.
“It’s been a month full of amazing nonfiction books! Which ones have made it onto your TBR? Be sure to link back to the original blogger who posted about that book!”
Last year I added a whole shelf worth of books to my TBR and didn’t read nearly as many as I’d hoped. So this year I’ve tried to be a little more realistic. Here’s my list.
| Title | Recommended By |
| The Great Displacement: Climate Change and the Next American Migration by Jake Bittle | Gulfside Musing |
| Thirteen Ways to Smell a Tree by David George Haskell | Shoe’s Seeds and Stories |
| Forest Walking by Peter Wohlleben | Words and Peace |
| Of Time and Turtles by Sy Montgomery | Book’d Out |
| How to Give up Plastic by Will McCallum | Reviews from the Stacks |
| A People’s History of Science by Clifford D. Conner | She Seeks Nonfiction |
| All the Beauty in the World: The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Me by Patrick Bringley | Volatile Rune |
| I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times by Monica Guzmán | Readerbuzz |
| In Other Words by Jhumpa Lahiri | Maphead’s Book Blog |
| The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland by Jim Defede | Lisa Notes and Silver Button Books (last year) |
I’ll add hyperlinks to the book titles pointing to my reviews as I post them.
Thanks to everyone who participated this year. It’s been great fun connecting with everyone about all the amazing nonfiction books we love. A special thanks to our hosts Heather, Frances, Liz, Rebekah and Lisa!
As always, thanks for reading

I enjoyed Hidden Life of Trees. And I’ve always meant to read The Day the World Came to Town.

Thanks for the shout out. I hope you enjoy Peter Wohlleben’s book, smaller than his other more famous ones

I should look into the Sy Montgomery book about turtles. I really enjoyed her book about octopuses. She is an excellent writer.

I, once again, wasn’t very realistic–I copied down too many books to read. ha. But I’ll start with what’s available at my library and go from there. Thanks for all you suggested! I wrote down several times from your posts.
